Back From Hiatus To Wish You A Happy Holidays!

First of all I want to greet you all a Merry Christmas! I hope you are having fun in this special day.

My family is not big on celebrations but we always make sure to be together. After all it’s the company that’s important, right? But there’s a lot of food though and I am very happy about that. I want a white Christmas and make snow angels but unfortunately it doesn’t snow in this part of the world. Sigh. I’m just going to stuff my face with cookies. Haha! Nothing beats holiday cookies.

WRITE FUEL: WHAT DO YOU EAT/DRINK WHILE WRITING?

I don’t like eating while writing, honestly. Actually, I don’t like to combine eating with any other activity. When I eat I want to focus on my food. If I consume food while writing then I won’t have any writing done, I would just munch and munch and munch.
But I do like hot chocolate, donuts and pizza. Just not while writing.

Manila International Book Fair 2015 Recap + Tips

This post is a bit late but better late than never, right?

Last September 20 my friend Sai and I went to the much-awaited Manila International Book Fair. It was our first time and we didn’t know what to expect! The gates would open at 10 AM and we wanted to be early because we live outside the Metro. We arrived at the SMX Convention Center just before 8 AM and waited in line until 10. It wasn’t so bad because I had a book (and a friend!) with me.

Before blogging on Books Keep Me Sane I was on Tumblr for four years. I did enjoy the four years I was on Tumblr but one day I got tired of it all and I felt like I wanted to try my hands on something new. I was tired of ranting on Tumblr about myself, because honestly, my life’s pretty boring, it just revolves around one thing— reading.
