On the blog
I am steadily making a dent in my review pile but I am still so busy with stuff. No worries though, I will try to get more posts up this week. It would have been great to post everyday but due to time constraints I can’t do that, but I do compromise by posting every other day.
I am also behind on commenting and visiting other blogs. Oops. So sorry about that. I feel really bad that people keeps on visiting BKMS and I can’t comment on their blogs back. 😦 BUUUUUUUT I will certainly try to this week 🙂
In my life
I am still in the middle of writing my research paper. I am beginning to enjoy it, actually. Also, I feel like I’ve been lacking sleep the entire week. I sleep for around 6-9 hours but I still feel SO sleepy and exhausted in the afternoons. I am not much of a coffee-drinker but even caffeine can’t fight off this drowsiness. The thing is, I don’t have time to nap in the afternoons. Sometimes I wish I could be a cat and just nap all day. Meow!
My friends and I are also planning on visiting University of the Philippines Los Banos Campus Library to research for our thesis. I am so excited to go there! I bet there will be lots of interesting books to read.
Currently Reading
I’ve been wanting to read this book for a long time now—even before I started blogging. I thought the blurb was really interesting. But now that I’m reading it, I think it’s totally meh. It’s so disappointing! I think I’m already more than 75% into the book. I just hope the ending will make it up to me, you know? I was so excited to start reading it.
Hey! I tagged you in the Libester Award!

Thank you so much 🙂 But BKMS is an award-free blog 😀
Oh, really? Why?
Your gif files bring me so much joy today.
Aww glad to know it brought you joy today 😀
You know… I didn’t like 13 Reasons Why. I thought the girl was a little mean for leaving those tapes behind for people to hear. I just had mixed feelings about that book.
Sunday Post
The book was meh for me too. I’m really disappointed with it. 😦
I absolutely love your blog header! I really know what you mean about Thirteen Reasons Why. I had heard so many great things about it and then I finally read it and I didn’t enjoy it that much. It was just… okay. I hope the ending does make it up to you.
Krystianna @ Downright Dystopian
Even though I didn’t like the book much, the ending did make me a little sad. 😦
Oh, I really loved 13 Reasons Why. I listened to the audiobook and I think that format really enhanced the experience. It was like I was listening to the tapes along with Clay.
I should have listened to the audiobook version I guess, I way I would have a great reading experience with 13 Reasons Why 😦
I think it’s too bad when a popular book leaves us cold. But I think that is all about expectations…and I try to avoid the hyped books…LOL.
Enjoy your week…and here’s
Okay, my link: MY WEEKLY SUNDAY/MONDAY UPDATES POST
I lways try to not get my expectations too high lol. But I am always drawn to hyped books 😀
I’m sorry you aren’t enjoying Thirteen Reasons Why as much as you hoped to. It was a book I really loved, but I can see how it may not live up to the hype for some people.
It is always hard to keep up with commenting on friends’ blogs. In the meantime continue enjoying your research paper.
It sure is, especially because the book blogging community is such a huge community lol. 😀
The cat gif is adorable! I also struggle with commenting on blogs that have visited me/left a comment. I always make sure to visit them, but sometimes there’s just not a recent post of theirs that I feel led to comment on. What to do, what to do….
Gotta love cat gifs! 😀
