Once upon a time, in Westchester and Orlando, there were four betas just waiting for their alpha. It took a miracle to bring the Pretty Committee together–or rather, a New Years Eve party. Because sometimes when you meet someone, it just cliques.

This special deluxe hardcover novella tells the outrageous story of how The Clique got together.

mythoughts

I adore the Clique series even if I kind of hate and at the same time love the characters in the book. So basically, Charmed and Dangerous is about how Massiee, Alicia, Dylan and Kristen met. It was refreshing to see the girls in a “new light”, when they were still betas who are in need of a strong leader. It was also interesting to see Massie as a beta and see her follow command from the alpha.

There are some details in the book that doesn’t match the other Clique books. If you’ve read the other Clique book then you’d notice it. I find it a major disappointment that there are holes in the plot.

I also  felt like the plot was too easy and simple compared to the other Clique books but I still loved the book nevertheless.

But aside from all that it was a joy to read the book and the question that’s always been at the back of our minds– how did these girls met and became friends?– has finally been answered.

All in all it was good, if you’re looking for a quick read or if you’re an avid fan of the Clique series then this is a must-read for you.
